Giveaway!

I am still using military surplus materials, but have also started working with waxed canvas. This material is ideal for bags because it is durable, water resistant, and develops a patina similar to leather with use. I love sewing with it too, it's such a treat after sewing with the surplus materials.
It is not a recycled material, but it is produced by a company in the U.S. that has been producing this fabric since the early 1900s, uses food quality waxes, and cares about the integrity of their product.

I thought I'd try to do a welcome back giveaway to get back into the swing of things. Up for grabs is a choice of one of the updated Quince pouches, either in waxed canvas or wool.
To enter, please leave a comment on this post. I just created a new Facebook page too, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could Like it, but it is not a requirement for entry.

A winner will be chosen at random on Sunday December 9th.

I still use my Military bag and people who recognize good quality & craftsmanship asked me "where did you get it??" Good thing your name tag is still hanging in! Glad too to have received your recent email.. I always forget to look up what you have been up to since I bought my bag in November 2010 at the "One of a kind" show in Toronto.

I am such a fan of your bags... the two I have are always the perfect accompaniment. I love the styles you create, the materials you use, AND the fact that creative human hands actually make them :)
When your email came last week I immediately thought too 'Christmas gift for myself' and...it arrived yesterday :)

Love love love your bags! The clasp pouches are wonderful:-)Are they the size of a change purse or a purse? It's hard to tell from the photo.

Sydney, thanks! The clasp pouches are pretty small, so more the size of a large change purse (it easily fits a cell phone).

Thank you everyone for your incredibly kind comments!
